If anyone here is interested in having a bit of American TT, now is the time to show your hand. 

The TT Scale Society is seeking to produce a GP38-2 shell with etched metal parts.  There are a number of options for powering it, including a BullAnt, a modified Piko Hercules mechanism (available pretty cheap for a Euro locomotive).

The masters will be produced by a manufacturer with a lot of experience in rapid prototyping and who already produces N scale diesel parts. 

One can subscribe to the Society by with a mere $US50 in dues, via Paypal or other methods. 

This is pretty cheap in and of itself, but is also an investment in the future of the scale and future products, a lot of which may be adapted for narrow gauge TT modelling.
