One of my favourite rail preservation sites is Ferrymead in Christchurch. The day after the recent modelling gathering, I managed to spend a couple of hours wandering around the rail collection and got some useful shots. Feel free to add any shots you have of Ferrymead items.

Next to a certain Dg that was undercover was this wagon. Is that a Dg roof vent on that wagon ???

Hopefully we'll see this Df operable one day.

Yes, that is indeed a DG vent on the KP. There are two sets of EE dynamic brake grids, fans and air-opetrated roof vents in the KP, and zero, zero and zero respectively in that certain DG...! There was also a DG control stand in there.

....and this is 'the certain Dg'. Interesting look under the covers showed that this is a one legged model.

I'm sure you can't get a spare Dg bogie inside that BCO (nee Kp) wagon either?

Maybe you guys are trying to figure out how you could RP one!
