The more observant among you may have noticed that ads are now placed on this site.  The intention is that any income that might be generated by advertising will go to subsidising the cost of providing this website.

When I first started this site I honestly didn't think that it would be as popular as it has become, and the amount of information residing on the server has continued to grow, particularly with images attached to posts.  Rather than attempting to limit the images or otherwise reduce the site the decision has been made to allow advertising.  Advertising is supplied by agencies such as Google Adsense, and other forms of advertising can be incorporated.

If you are interested in placing an ad on this site, particularly if you are a model railway, or hobby supplier with products or services potentially of interest to the audience of this site please Contact the Webmaster.

There's a Classifieds section on this site intended to help people who want to buy, sell, or trade their NZ120 items, but the Forums may work better for that.  No objection to fair personal use of this site for that if it is in the interests of the hobby.  Excessive for-profit users will be encouraged to support the site by paid advertising.

Hi Steve

Ooops.  It looks like the Classifieds module is no longer working properly.  Your posting was in the system but something is clearly wrong with the module as it had your listing expired a long time ago and I can't get it to reset properly; so I have uninstalled the module.

In it's place I have created a Forum section where items wanted or for sale can be advertised.

Again, this is not intended for commercial use.  I can hear the question "What is commercial use?"  Obviously that is hard to define properly with most of not all of our suppliers being cottage industries or modellers running off a couple of extra castings to help other modellers and hardly being "commercial".  At the end of the day it will be my call depending on the items being advertised, how regularly listings are being made, etc - overall a "fair use" policy.
