Received the wagons, very good. Usual Kato quality. I’ve taken a couple of shots below… as you can see they do look very much like KS wagons, except for the doors which need to me more inset. There’s a ZA wagon behind them for size comparison, they are slightly smaller (being 1:150, the Japanese make their N scale models slightly larger as like us they have a narrow-gauge national network). I’ve not got out the digital callipers yet to measure.
At this stage I’ve got a lot of other bits and pieces to get on with, so the KS will likely go back into the box when I have time to deal with them, but that shouldn’t be too hard.
theres a host of Japanese wagons I have picked up over the years in N scale. They have a dble bogie version of the WaMu 80000 as well. Hobby Search have them in stock for reasonable money https://vayashis11.com/vayashis11/jr_pepacra/page-17978/ They have a white version and blue version of the WaMu 80000 .Blue wagons in Farish boxes as I purchased unboxed.
